Training Contract

TRAINING CONTRACT

The HAEME LEW Training Contract is a 9-month training period offered by us to Malaysian citizen law graduates pursuing a career as an advocate and solicitor in Malaya.

This period of recognised training is regulated by the Malaysian Bar under the Legal Profession Act 1976. You may become our Trainee Associate after a qualifying law degree (e.g. LLB) and upon passing the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP).

Our Trainee Associates or Pupils-in-Chambers will be supervised and mentored by our experienced lawyers for the whole 9-month period. HAEME LEW Training Contract gives our Trainee Associates the opportunity to experience our key practice areas. Our training program ensures you experience different areas of law, including dispute resolution and corporate works.

Under our new program, our Trainee Associates may have the opportunity to be trained by experienced lawyers from our international affiliates located in London, Dubai, and Jakarta for a period of 4 weeks, subject to the fulfilment of certain criteria to be imposed by the Firm.

All applications for the HAEME LEW Training Contract should be submitted at least three (3) months before the targeted start date. For more information on our Training Contract, please download our Training Contract Booklet.
